Beth Janney is a registered nurse. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. After receiving a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, she pursued a career in case management which lasted for 24 years. From 2005 to 2017, Beth operated her own case management company. In 2015, Beth felt called to work with families and their elderly loved ones to help guide them through the challenges of aging and caregiving.  She began the geriatric care management company, Elder Family Advocates.

In August of 2017, Beth received the opportunity to become the Corporate Director of Memory Care for Morning Pointe Senior Living. She creates and presents programming and training for staff in 24 memory care communities in 5 states. It is Beth’s personal mission and ministry to improve the quality of life for persons living with dementia and their caregivers.

Beth is a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse; Certified Dementia Practitioner and Trainer; Certified Positive Approach to Care™ Consultant and Trainer; and, Best Friends Approach™ Master Trainer. In 2023, she joined the Tennessee Dementia Action Collaborative, a group sanctioned by the governor to serve persons living with dementia and their caregivers in the state of Tennessee.

In 2024, Beth completed two years of seminary study at Church Divinity School of the Pacific. She was ordained as a Deacon in the Episcopal Church on September 2024. She currently serves as the Deacon at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
