Please note the following updates regarding the status of Best Friends™ Master Training for the 2020 season.

As circumstances continue to evolve around the COVID-19 situation, the leadership at Health Professions Press and the Best Friends Expert Leaders have adjusted plans for the Best Friends™ Master Training Institute scheduled for August 4−5, 2020, in Tucson, Arizona.

Out of concern for the health and well-being of both participants and trainers, we have decided to offer this event as a virtual training. It is not the time to ask participants to risk the uncertainties and potential exposure of traveling and coming together in person. Our overriding concern is for the health and safety of not just those planning to attend any of our Best Friends™ trainings, but also for the colleagues and elders to whom you would be returning.

If you have already registered or are considering registering to attend one of the Best Friends™ Training Institutes, please be aware that

• The training dates of August 4‒5, 2020, have been restructured and extended for an additional day, August 4–6, 2020. The new schedule details are posted on the training page (click here).
• Registration deadline is July 10, 2020.
• All necessary training materials will be shipped in advance to participants.
• Instructions for using Zoom will be provided along with tips for having a successful virtual experience
